EMDR, Healing Our Core Issues Trained

So many of us carry pain that’s hard to name — the ache of feeling unseen, the weight of unmet needs, or the quiet sadness that lingers long after the moment has passed. If you feel that heaviness, you’re not alone. Healing doesn’t require that your story be dramatic; it simply asks for honesty, compassion, and a safe space to begin again. My hope is that therapy feels like that space — steady enough for you to explore what’s been holding you back and gentle enough for you to start releasing what no longer serves you.

I work with clients who long to feel more connected to themselves and others — those ready to move through the impact of trauma, emotional neglect, or difficult relationships. Using the Healing Our Core Issues (HOCI) model and EMDR, we’ll slow down, notice the patterns that have protected you, and create new ways of relating that bring clarity, peace, and a sense of belonging.

Before becoming a counselor, I earned bachelor’s degrees in Elementary Education and Psychology from Belmont University and spent several years teaching in a Title I school. That experience opened my eyes to the quiet ways trauma shows up in everyday life and deepened my commitment to helping others heal. I later completed my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and have been part of the Be Found team ever since.

My faith shapes the way I see the world and informs the compassion I bring to this work. For clients who wish to integrate spirituality, I’m comfortable weaving that into therapy. For those who don’t, my door remains completely open — this space is about your story, not mine. Above all, I want you to feel seen, accepted, and empowered to live as your most authentic self.

You don’t have to navigate this journey alone. When you’re ready, I’d be honored to walk with you — one steady step at a time.
