Licensed LENS Neurofeedback Provider, Advanced Certified Sensorimotor Psychotherapist
Hi I’m Bryan, and I recently joined the Be Found Counseling team to offer Lens Neurofeedback to help our clients rewire the brain and nervous system! But first, a little about me:
I grew up at ground zero of the infamous Hatfield and McCoy feud in eastern Kentucky where I learned how to survive but not so much how to thrive. Using my natural bent toward discipline, I was an over-achiever as a child, which paid off because it helped me make it out of poverty and then go on to receive three national awards:1) nominated to the McDonald’s All-American basketball team; 2) an Honorable Mention McDonald’s All-American; and 3) Honorable Mention All-American by the AP. I went on to play college basketball, playing in the MENS’ NCAA tournament in 1985. It’s been a long journey of learning how to befriend a fearful brain and nervous system…but I made it through those challenges with the help of resources like Lens Neurofeedback.
What is LENS Neurofeedback? And how can it help? LENS (Low Energy Neurofeedback System) is a gentle, non-invasive technology that helps the brain reset and self-regulate. It uses faint electromagnetic feedback to mirror your brain’s own activity, helping it move out of stuck patterns and restore natural flexibility and balance.
LENS has been shown to help both children and adults with:
Anxiety, depression, and emotional regulation
Chronic stress, fatigue, and burnout
Sleep difficulties and brain fog
ADHD, focus, and attention challenges
Post-concussion and trauma recovery
Peak performance and mental clarity
In short, LENS helps the brain do what it’s designed to do—function with greater calm, clarity, and resilience.
Outside of my clinical work, I volunteer regularly with Thistle Farms, a Nashville nonprofit that empowers women survivors of trafficking, addiction, and abuse by offering safe housing, holistic healing, and meaningful employment. My commitment to service mirrors the heart of my therapeutic mission—helping people heal, grow, and reclaim their dignity.
