Hi, I’m Ashley — and believe it or not, I’m already a huge fan of yours. I believe we all have a story, and it’s an honor to walk alongside women, men, and teens as they seek healing, awareness, change, and joy.

I grew up in Murray, Kentucky, where life revolved around sports, friends, and being outdoors. I saw the world as a collection of adventures and learned early on to focus on the bright side. Optimism was my superpower — and sometimes my shield. Like many of us, I became so practiced at staying positive that I rarely made space for my own hurt, fear, or loneliness.

That personal journey has shaped the way I approach counseling today. I know how vulnerable it can feel to face the parts of your story you’d rather run from. But I’ve also seen how powerful therapy can be — how it helps us heal old attachment wounds, reclaim our authentic selves, and rediscover peace, purpose, and connection. I continue to experience that healing in my own life, and it’s what I see unfolding for my clients every day.

My educational background includes Master’s and Specialist degrees in School Psychology from Appalachian State University, graduate coursework in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lipscomb University, and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Murray State University.

I’m EMDR-trained and DARTT-certified, and I bring more than a decade of experience working in both educational and therapeutic settings — including international programs in Scotland and England, school psychology, residential treatment, youth ministry, and sports coaching. Each experience deepened my understanding of resilience and the many ways people heal.

When I’m not in session, I’m likely outside — traveling, snowboarding, catching a concert, or trying a new restaurant around town. I also love slowing down with friends, family, and a good audiobook (yes, that still counts as reading!).

Whether you’re feeling stuck, hopeful, or just curious about what’s next, I’d love to walk with you toward healing — one honest step at a time.
